Pinellas County Drill Meet

The Pinellas County Drill Meet provides an opportunity for local area high school Junior ROTC units to compete between each other. The meet is organized by Pinellas County Schools (Supervisor for JROTC) and the Clearwater High School Marine Corps JROTC Unit. In addition to Admiral Farragut, the following high schools normally participate in this meet:

• Gibbs

• Boca Ciega

• Dunedin

• Clearwater

• Dixie Hollins

The Pinellas Meet is normally held in the winter or early spring of each year. This meet, which is usually hosted by Admiral Farragut, has the following events:

• Military Inspection
• Standard Drill with Weapons (Male)
• Standard Drill with Weapons (Female/Mixed 60/40)
• Exhibition Drill (Male)
• Exhibition Drill (Female/Mixed 60/40)
• Individual Drill
• Color Guard (Male)
• Color Guard (Female)
• Physical Fitness
• Marksmanship
• Academics
