JROTC Field Meets

Scheduled Meets Field meets provide cadets with an opportunity to build on individual and team skills. Senior cadets are assigned as team commanders which help them build and refine their leadership skills. The meets normally include the following events:
  • Personnel inspection
  • Armed and unarmed basic drill
  • Armed and unarmed exhibition drill
  • Color Guard
  • Athletics
  • Academics
  • Individual drill
  • Riflery 

Admiral Farragut cadets normally participate in 2-3 field meets per year. The Unit is required to participate in at least one NJROTC Area Seven meet. In addition, the Academy is the host school for the annual All Pinellas County JROTC Field Meet.
